A very successful Kids Safety Day of 2010 was held September 11th at Bu
rton’s Century Village, a perfect day for over 400children and their parents to be out-of-doors in a lovely setting, with many events to claim their attention and provide important learning experiences. The day was sponsored by University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. Chris Steigerwald, the director of CASA for KIDS of Geauga County, chaired the event.
Participants include Bainbridge Fire Department, Burton Police Department, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, Geauga County Job & Family Services, Geauga County Sherrif's Department, Geauga Park District, Geauga YMCA, Girl Scout Troops 480 & 822, Health Department, Help Me Grow, Lake Geauga Recovery Center, Mentall health Association, Middlefield Police, radKIDS, Rescue Village, South Russell Police
